Welcome to Pedro Taxi Las Terrenas. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website and the booking of our transportation and tour services. By booking a service with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Service Agreement

Pedro Taxi Las Terrenas ("the Company") agrees to provide private airport transfer and tour services ("the Service") to you ("the Client") under the terms outlined herein. All services are provided by licensed, professional drivers in insured, well-maintained vehicles.

2. Bookings, Payments & Confirmations

2.1. Booking Process

Bookings can be made through our official website, email, or other authorized communication channels. To complete a booking, the Client must provide accurate details, including passenger names, contact information, flight numbers, pickup/drop-off locations, and times.

2.2. Payment

A deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. Accepted payment methods and full payment instructions will be provided during the booking process. All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated.

2.3. Booking Confirmation

A booking is not considered final until a confirmation email has been sent by the Company to the Client. This email will contain the full details of your reservation. It is the Client's responsibility to review this confirmation and notify us immediately of any discrepancies.

3. Cancellations & Modifications

3.1. Cancellation by the Client

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time will receive a full refund of any amount paid.
• Cancellations made between 24 to 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time, or in the case of a "no-show," are non-refundable.

3.2. Modification by the Client

We will accommodate booking modifications (e.g., change of time or date) subject to availability. Significant changes may incur additional fees. All modification requests must be submitted in writing (e.g., email).

3.3. Cancellation by the Company

We reserve the right to cancel a booking due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather events, natural disasters, or security concerns. In such rare cases, the Client will be notified immediately and offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.

4. Client Obligations

4.1. Punctuality

Clients are expected to be ready at the scheduled pickup time. For airport pickups, we monitor flight arrivals and provide a complimentary waiting time of 60 minutes after your flight has landed. For all other pickups, a 15-minute complimentary waiting period applies.

4.2. Passenger Conduct

The Client is responsible for the conduct of all passengers in their party. The Company reserves the right to refuse service to any person who is intoxicated, disruptive, or poses a threat to the driver or vehicle. Smoking and the consumption of illegal substances are strictly prohibited in our vehicles.

4.3. Luggage

Please inform us of any oversized luggage, surfboards, or an excessive number of bags at the time of booking to ensure adequate vehicle space. The Company is not responsible for lost or damaged luggage.

4.4. Child Safety

Parents are responsible for ensuring children are secured in appropriate child safety seats as required by law. Please request child seats during the booking process if needed.

5. Limitation of Liability

The Company shall not be held liable for delays, losses, or damages arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control (Force Majeure), including but not limited to traffic congestion, road closures, accidents, adverse weather, or flight delays.

We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance before their trip.

6. Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. All personal information collected during the booking process is used solely for the purpose of providing our services. Please refer to our official Privacy Policy page for more details.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Dominican Republic. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Dominican Republic.
